While it is normal to have these feeling before a big exam, event, game, or test, it is considered a disorder when there is no clear reason why the person feels this way.

If you are suffering from anxiety, you need to know that there are ways of dealing with the disorder so that you can lead a full and happy life. Following is a guide to anxiety that will show you how to properly handle and live with the disorder. The first thing that you need to do to deal with anxiety is to know what king of anxiety you are dealing with. This is a crucial step towards seeking proper treatment for your disorder.

There are many different types of anxiety which you could be suffering from such as general anxiety disorder, which causes you to worry about non-specific life events, separation anxiety, which causes you to become anxious when you are separated from a person or place that makes you feel safe, panic disorder, which causes brief, intense bouts of panic, and social anxiety disorder, which causes you to have an irrational fear of humiliation and judgement while out in public. Once you have determined what type of anxiety you have, you must decide on what method of treatment works best for you. 

There are many options available for treating and coping with anxiety disorders. The first method is medication. There are different medications available, which can be prescribed to you be a psychiatrist or your M.D, which can help you cope with your disorder.

Therapy is another option for dealing with anxiety. It can be used in conjunction with or as an alternative to medication. Your therapist will teach you how to work through your anxiety, and how to live a happy, normal life despite of it. A third method of dealing with anxiety, which again can be used on its own or in conjunction with others, is to learn coping mechanisms that allow you to deal with and work through your anxiety.
